close, but Curry = $34.68 million, Neymar = $36.45 million

NBA contracts are backloaded though. Curry will be making over $40 mill in a few years and will top Neymar next year

If you look at overall salaries, the NBA >>>>>>>>>>>> all sports.

Overalll contract I think Neymar will far exceed Curry though with signing bonuses sponsorships etc things like that

Rank Player Name Goals Scored
#1 Pelé 77
#2 Ronaldo 62
#3 Romário 55
#4 Neymar* 50
#5 Zico 48
#6 Bebeto 39
#7 Rivaldo 35
#8 Jairzinho 33
#8 Ronaldinho* 33
#10 Ademir 32
#10 Tostão 32

I keep saying Neymar is a goal scoring machine. When he plays for the national team he is totaly different when he was in Barca. He scores goals and puts a team on his back. All I hope he stays healty and lead Brazil to win hexa. If he leads brazil to win a world cup next year he could win the Balon D'or because honestly Ronaldo and Messi will still dominant the champions League and La Liga. I do not see PSG being able to beat Real or Bayern Munich.

It will be close. NBA have ridiculous shoe deals compared to everyone else. Not to mention how backloaded Curry's contract is.

Do they not have a salary cap in Europe? And where do soccer teams get all this money from? They must charge a grip for tickets

Sponsorship. The name across jerseys pay a grip just to be on that front of the jersey essentially as advertisment.

and no different than American sports, TV contracts and rights to broadcast the games from a specific league costs the TV stations a lot but it's worth it for them. In the US, NBC Sports has the right to broadcast the English Premier League and I am sure they had to shell out a few billions for that right. In addition to just worldwide merchandise revenues and pre-season touring in places like America and Asia where consumers have a lot of disposable income and are seen as growth markets for the sport to grow and gain more of a fan base.

:stopitslime: The Brazil national team today is not the same team from 2014. First of all no David Luiz. The midfield has 3 Central midfielders with the defensive juggernaut Casemiro leading. No Oscar now. The team has Alex Sandro who can play fullback, winger or midfielder. Coutinho and Douglas Costa. No Willian,no Fred. Defensively the team is solid now. Are they in the same level as France or Germany probably not but they are not be underestimated.

Tite called him up for the Summer friendlies in Australia and he looked good. And plus he's been amazing since his return to Chelsea, so he'll probably find his way back on a permanent basis before the World Cup.

I'm going into the World Cup with tempered expectations, the team has looked phenomenal with Tite at the helm. But they looked good initially when Dunga came back after the World Cup debacle, until things fell apart at the Copa. Granted those were friendlies versus WCQ.

IMMIGRANT TETHERS
With what defense?
that's why I said most likely . They have no shot of making it but if I was to chose a team from the league, it's them because of their attack and creativity from midfield. Attacking teams usually always win the champions league
City front line looks disgusting. Aguero, Silva, KDB, Gabriel Jesus, Sane, Bernardo Silva :whew:

That midfield is a joke though. 60 year old Yaya Toure, Fernandinho, and Gundogan who spends half of the season at the physio :mjlol:
I still shocked that Pep still has Yaya sticking around. I thought they stay shytting on each other :laff:
That fatty is not a box to box no more. He's a center circle to center circle midfielder now :mjlol:
