and no different than American sports, TV contracts and rights to broadcast the games from a specific league costs the TV stations a lot but it's worth it for them. In the US, NBC Sports has the right to broadcast the English Premier League and I am sure they had to shell out a few billions for that right. In addition to just worldwide merchandise revenues and pre-season touring in places like America and Asia where consumers have a lot of disposable income and are seen as growth markets for the sport to grow and gain more of a fan base.

The Brazil national team today is not the same team from 2014. First of all no David Luiz. The midfield has 3 Central midfielders with the defensive juggernaut Casemiro leading. No Oscar now. The team has Alex Sandro who can play fullback,winger or midfielder. Coutinho and Douglas Costa. No Willian,no Fred. Defensively the team is solid now. Are they in the same level as France or Germany probably not but they are not be underestimated.
Tite called him up for the Summer friendlies in Australia and he looked good. And plus he's been amazing since his return to Chelsea, so he'll probably find his way back on a permanent basis before the World Cup.
I'm going into the World Cup with tempered expectations, the team has looked phenomenal with Tite at the helm. But they looked good initially when Dunga came back after the World Cup debacle, until things fell apart at the Copa. Granted those were friendlies versus WCQ.
