lame uncreative derivative bullshyt like the foo fighters, coldplay, and to a certain extent the red hot chili peppers is what killed rock music

the post grunge era in particular was rife with cobain imitators like puddle of mudd and nickelback

And from what I can gather is that things was going in that Direction anyway especially with Kurts Death plus Layne and Scott being Toxic in their respective Bands oh and The Rise of Nu Metal...I did hear that if Kurt didnt die,Nirvana woulda went wit more Acoustics after that MTV Unplugged Set then disband giving Dave the ability to do The Foo thing
