He was talking about his fear of falling off and that he tries to push the thought away but in the end has to accept it. Then later goes on to say he wants to keep making the music he wants to make trying to seek reassurance that staying true to himself will leave him with the most success.He also seems to be asking the heavens(God) those questions in the middle of the song trying to find reassurance he can be human and make mistakes and still make it in the long run.

At least thats what I got...more or less
