Whoa Whoa Whoa.......I’m a ER nurse in a busy ER. And I can tell you first hand that I’ve only done 2 flu swabs last year, and they were pediatric cases. Normally we do flu swabs on everyone with flu like symptoms during flu season. However, with COVID its been....you either have COVID or a viral syndrome. I imagine other hospitals have the same practice.

My lady is an ICU nurse.

They test for Flu A &B, RSV & Pneumonia before they even check Covid. Last month she was getting patients that had both Flu and Covid.

In fact, before COVID was known, the CDC put out a study that %60 of people in the United States either dont wash their hands or don't wash them properly after using the restroom. Then last year I saw the numbers of infected skyrocket when testing started and was like "Yep".
