Yes, Khan did try and survive the last 2 rounds (he was dropped in the 10th) by getting on his bike, but he already had the early rounds in the bag including the knockdown
The judges had it 114-111 twice and 113-112 for a UD for Khan in a VERY close fight. Even if you gave Maidana back the deducted point, he would've still lost a SD 114-112, 114-112, and 113-113.
Also, Khan didnt HAVE to give Maidana a rematch because challengers never have rematch clauses in their contract.........only champions
