I don't give a fukk about showing that fat ass condescending nikka that I'm not a casual boxing fan. Dude stays riding his own dikk. You don't do that and most other posters don't. Dude is a fukking prick.

Naw it is deeper than boxing. And honestly I'm tired of the elitist ass attitudes in here that want to shyt on anyone who doesn't watch friday night fights every week and knows who the super flyweight #3 contender is at the current time. I follow boxing more than anyone I know, including my father. But I won't act like a uppity fakkit when he tells me stories of Ali and Frazier. Boxing isn't as main stream as other sports and the big bouts cost a PPV fee, so of course it isn't as popular. I played D-1 baseball and consider myself very well versed in the sport. I have conversations with people who don't know half the shyt I know about baseball all the time and never do I pull the "I know way more about baseball than you" card. I just speak my opinion and keep it moving. Like I said before, nobody likes self congratulating people who always bring up what they know and their accolades. But do you breh. I'm sure you'll have 4 or 5 of co-signs from your friends. And this goes to that fat ass @patscorpio nikka too. I saw the pics of you and your ugly ass bytch. I see why you so insecure. :scusthov:

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
This thread has turned into a war zone. With that being said, that "casual" shyt that boxing fans like to spout off is incredibly lame, and I'm talking about in general. What's the line of delineation between a "casual" and a tried and true boxing fan? They have to know who Harry Greb or someone more obscure like David Telesco is or some shyt? Have to watch those fights that come on public access TV that come on at 2:00 am? Those joints that are broadcast in Spanish. They have to post in the threads in the Ring? Why? I saw a thread that a dude started in the main forum about that trite ass Pac-Man and Floyd debate, and dudes were like, "You brought this to the casuals. You knew not to bring in to the Ring!" Wtf? That's beyond myopic. A person can be a genuine fan of boxing and not post on The Ring or any site for that matter. You never know who you're talking to over the net, so to assume because a person doesn't post on here they aren't a fan or try to label them with some sort of shaming tactic such as a "casual," takes an incredible amount of hubris. And as someone that has accounts on Eastside boxing, Doghouse boxing (had this one 10 years) and Boxing scene (respect to Obama da gawd), I don't think a person has to have Fres Oquendo's complete career on a flash drive -- that they carry around in a bio-marker authenticating suitcase to refer to themselves as something as amorphous as "fan." :yeshrug:

Patscorpio and most of the other regulars in the ring know what they are talking about, even when we dont agree.. You dont know shyt, and its very easy to spot nikkas like you when you post :umad:

I don't get it. You only come out when it has to do with Pacquiao. Not once has @patscorpio or @krackdagawd called you out on you not knowing boxing. Only @Mook and @Skip b get on you for it. It's just hypocritical that you get away with your Package stanning and get get daps but neggas can't even say they like Floyd in here without being a casual. I been called a flomo and a casual on here before just for stating the obvious about the Pacman smear campaign meanwhile you get to say the dumbest and most awkward things and nobody addresses it. If you ask me you the worst poster in this sub forum and you bring nothing new to the table.

shyt forget pacquiao. a lot of these floyd stans never even seen FLOYD fight before he fought delahoya. on sohh, on the day of the gatti fight there wasn't even an official fight thread made. there was only one thread made when the fight was announced. and we just posted in that on fight night. and the thread ended up with a total of like 60 replies. this is no bullshyt. Q money knows. we used to ask for a boxing subforum back then and they weren't having it. once floyd fought delahoya, all them same posters who skimmed past every boxing thread in the coliseum were all of a sudden long time floyd fans/boxing experts. i'm not hating on people who became boxing fans after floyd fought delahoya...as long as they appreciate the sport first and foremost. we all have our favorite fighters, but no fighter should be above criticism.
That's a stupid and ignorant post. What about the people that worship Pacquiao and hate Floyd ? Did we even have a Package stan other than @patscorpio before he fought Hatton ? This is a black message board and ppl gonna support people that look like them. Go to a tennis board and ask how Manny were supporting Nadal before he beat Federer. You neggas finding every excuse to outcast any Floyd supporter. Disgusting.

For those that were watching last night with Bones Jones and Glover, Floyd/Marcos is going to be the same way. Glover is a power puncher, give him space, he'll clock you. Bones was in his face the entire fight, watch Floyd do the same.

To deny there are such things as "casual fans" is crazy.

You are a Florida State fan such as myself. If you were discussing College Football with someone who was a Jameis Winston fan and claimed to know all about the Noles (because its their favorite team he claims), you wouldn't believe he's a casual fan/bandwagon fan if you started talking about the season from last year and he couldn't tell you who the starting WRs or TE or even RB was?

That's the same thing here.

People come in here all the time claiming they "know boxing". Ok...cool. When we start a conversation about Lucas Matthysse struggling against John Molina Jr., they're nowhere to be found. Only when the thread has Floyd's name in it do they pop up. That's not wrong either, because some posters who do that HAVE shown they know about Floyd and dont follow him because he's the trend right now.

What shows if they are casual or not is when they come in saying bullshyt like "Floyd is the GOAT, Manny is garbage and always has been until he used steroids". We question them like "what do you mean, look at Manny resume before he linked up with Ariza" and they respond back with "Manny aint beat nobody without steroids".

Hell, nikkas came in The Ring saying "Manny fought like an amateur" just because Floyd said it. I know because I asked the dude why does he think that and he couldn't give a valid reason....which means he was just parroting Floyd's opinion like all casual/bandwagon Floyd stans do

Nah breh, Black Jesus gets called out all the time :heh:

It's just he's a consistent poster in here where it makes no sense to keep saying the same thing. He only posts in reference to Manny or Floyd, but the key thing is he ADMITTED he doesn't care about pretty much no boxer but Pac
He's a pure Pac stan...and we know it.

These other guys are purely Floyd stans, but don't wanna admit it. That's what wack about it, because when you try and go into detail with them about Floyd's career vs Manny/Any other all time great in comparision, they can't do it.

I don't know what's wrong with people not admitting they only fukk with Floyd and nobody else. If they did, we know what's up and can direct our convos around that. Dont say you're a huge boxing fan but you cant name who's the belt holders at 154....a weight Floyd fights at.

That's crazy.

I watched it and my boy JBJ whooped that ass:heh:

And to everybody else in here, Iceberg is a Floyd stan who we talk boxing with because he knows what the hell he's talking about when it comes to Floyd. He breaks down stuff and shows he actually WATCHES Floyd and not just says it or follows him because its the "in thing" at the moment.

So, for yall saying people have a problem with Floyd stans, you're wrong. Iceberg rarely gets any shyt, because he doesn't come in parroting everything Floyd says. He gives his opinion and can then break down WHY he has that opinion. A real good boxing poster imo. Hes pretty much Floyd only, but still we know he knows about the sport because of how he breaks down what he sees

Thats bullshyt.. If a nikka dap me its because they just agreed with something I posted. Has shyt to do with me liking Floyd or Pacquiao.. I dont only talk about Pacquiao but Pac is my nikka and one of the greatest fighters this generation.. im not letting nikkas get away with the undeserved disrespect in my presence. Nope
You have the right to stan whoever you want as long as you know what the fukk you're talking about... The point Patscorpio Newzz and Krack were making was that the past week we had 3 people who aren't regulars posting nothing but nonsense dikkriding Floyd shytting on Pacquiao yadiyada.. But when confronted on anything they turn to random quotes and youtube videos because they cant formulate theor own thoughts and opinions followed by legit reasons they feel that way..
I Just like to watch boxing...never claimed to be some boxing expert and I feel I dont need to give a full deep analysis on every boxing match I watch.. that dont mean I dont know shyt about boxing because the sport really isnt complicated or hard to follow at all if you consistently watch more than just Floyd and Manny..

I'm not saying "casuals" don't exist. That's not my position. I'm saying there's no criteria for determining who is a casual and who isn't in an online environment. They make stupid arguments, they don't post on here, I know more than them, or they don't seem knowledgeable isn't sufficient. There's plenty of dumb and nonsensical shyt said on boxing scene daily by people that post every single day. Plenty. I can't even articulate how outlandish the Matthyse brigade was before the Swift fight. There's plenty of "race backing" of fighters or whatever on there. There's several posters on ESB's classic board more knowledgeable about boxing history in a collective sense than any of us here. So, since we can't determine if someone is a "casual" online, one can either attack the argument, ignore it, agree with it or whatever. But, if a person's response is, "You're a casual and X-Y-Z," that's weak. The casual bit is an ad hominem attack that's unsubstantiated. X-Y-Z would be more than appropriate to rebut their claim. The whole casual dynamic just seems like turning your nose up at plebeians on the street in ancient Rome or some shyt to me. :yeshrug:

I wish you gentleman an excellent day, though. I'm about to get on these Fruit Loops. :noah:
