That's why MMA is where it's at (no diss to MMA though, because I fukks with it too). That's why he did it, because nobody gave a shyt about Floyd when he was Pretty Boy Floyd. He had to make his persona as Money Mayweather in order to sell himself and make himself marketable.

If it wasn't for that, Floyd would be in the same boat as Andre Ward or Guillermo Rigondeaux

boxing is an art and a science almost as much, or moreso than a sport. "casual" fans don't understand that..especially in the ADD UFC/MMA era..they watch and expect brutality and a brawl and they don't understand that that is generally NOT considered boxing but just fighting with hands. they see a guy like PBF who is a boxer who makes his opponent often look like a stupid fighter and they say that PBF was being a coward because he didn't engage as much or let the other guy dictate the fight. i appreciate greatly floyd's skill but im far from a stan of his. i generally root for the better boxer on the night of the fight to win if it gets to the cards..and that has been PBF throughout his career..if he was to fight Manny and I thought Manny outboxed him or won the fight then id be hopeful the judges saw the same thing.
