Yeah I feel kind of bad for the old man. Granted, he's making it seem like he's leaving of his own will as he's 85, but it still doesn't look right considering the timing of Floyd's comments regarding a team makeover and Ellerbe's departure. A couple fights back in one of those 24/7 episodes, Mayweather was poking fun at the old man and it didn't sit entirely well with me. I've always been one to respect my elders. Even when joking with them at their expense, there's a certain level respect that needs to be shown and I didn't feel Mayweather did that during that 24/7 spot.
Regardless, I'm sure the old man got more paper than any other cutman in the business and he's lived a pretty good life. Time to ride off into the sunset.

He was acting like a b!tch right!!!!! He was acting like that in the second fight too with the bite even though he initiated it when smothering Maidana's mouth trying to fukk with his breathing. Matter fact, anytime, anybody does something like a low blow to Floyd, he gets real childish. Most cats take that low blow and might give their opponent that look. Same look when two people are having a conversation and one inadvertently spits on the other one. Floyd though he gets all, "C'mon Man!!" "He bit me!" Holds arms out, looks down at groin like it might not be there anymore. He's a mess. Then he clearly hit Maidana with a low blow and acted like it was a legitimate body shot.But seriously, Garcia got him in order and calmed him down too cuz he was panicking after that cut. Think that's the first head cut he's ever had, right?
