Try to negotiate for 50/50 when you got KTFO and lost a decision in the past 2 years brehs

I don't have a problem with Pacquiao asking for 50/50 and wouldn't consider a duck if that is what he wanted. The loss decision was bullshyt and everyone knows it. As a fight fan you should know not to use that.
The loss vs Marquez I can see why people think that makes Mayweather the A side and Manny the B side. We still are dealing with the number 1 and number 2 fighter at 147. They are the two most popular fighters in the world. They both can schedule fights against opponents not against each other and continue to get the same ratings and paychecks they have been cashing in the last few years. The fight vs each other is the one where they both will sell more and make more than they can anywhere else. That is true bargaining power. Mayweather can't do it without Manny and the same for Manny without Floyd.

I don't disagree that Floyd is slighly more popular and maybe deserves the A-side. But this is boxing and a business. The $ pot on this would be huge and it isn't because Mayweather is the A-side...it is because it is Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.

You ain't slick. I don't know why so many people have a problem with Floyd running the show, but was quiet as a church mouse when every other top fighter in history got to dictate moves. From SRL dictating the ring size against Hagler to Oscar choosing everything in the Floyd fight from the purse split, ring size, glove size, weight, etc. Hell to get the Oscar fight, Floyd had to leave Top Rank! If you really want it, then go get it. Cotto left Arum to get Floyd and guess what....the fight that was so hard to make under Arum was made with no hiccups. Stop trying to spoon feed Pac a chance at greatness when he's walking around like he's Floyd's equal. Then you have fans who try to disguise their fandom and pretend to be objective come into conversation using passive word play like "think....maybe...slightly" when you damn well Floyd is driving this bus.

Floyd is the fukking A side deal with it...there's no if ands buts or maybes

You DO NOT turn down 50/50 over drug testing...then go on to lose 2 fights, getting slept in one of them...have your PPV numbers dwindle N expect 50/50 to be offered again

Really? I don't have allegiances to either fighter. I love watching both of them fight. Both great fighters. Both are my top 2 at 147. I have Floyd number 1 PFP and Manny number 3. Those are my cards. I don't have an incentive for the fight to be made or not made, I don't Stan or hate either fighter.

All I am saying is that no one can duplicate the numbers Mayweather-Pacquiao will do. Each guy can go off and find opponents to cash their regular paydays and regular PPV numbers. But no one brings the $$$ that this match will. And it isn't because Mayweather or Pacquiao is categorically more popular than the other. The reason is because people want to see the two of them fight each other.

Mayweather stans hate Pacquiao's side because they thought they deserved A side billing when this fight was originally discussed. Pacquiao stans hate Floyd because they think he lowballs Manny on the negotiations. End of the day, we still don't have a fight.

If Floyd tries to wield his power and get Manny to take less than 50%, more power to him. It would be a great negotiation by him. It doesn't hurt my feelings what % either guy gets. All I am saying is if Manny walked away because he was offered less than 50% I wouldn't blame him. At the end of the day I hope both guys don't get caught up in the pettiness of %. Even if the fight is made 50/50, both guys will get more than they can get anywhere else. And again, for Floyd stans, if Floyd can negotiate more than 50% great for him...but don't be surprised and blaming Manny if he wants more.
