What is this "trade" shots stuff? I'm sure there would be some exchanges, but Floyd won't have to trade to be successful. Manny will follow him around the ring a walk onto shots. It's just what Manny does. He'll, he was doing against Algeri.
Floyd will control the distance and keep Manny just out of punching range and cause him to lunge and be off balance. Once he gets down a couple of rounds he will get ultra aggressive and he will get punished continuously.
Oh and @Newzz the reason Floyd got caught with that right by Maidana is because Maidana set a trap. Floyd loves the pull counter, he let's his opponent commit to the punch making sure his weight is on his back foot so he can move his head just out of range once the punch is thrown. What Maidana did is he took a half step forward and threw out a "false/dummy" jab and when Floyd went to pull counter he and was committed to the punch, Maidana slipped to the left taking a half step forward at the same time and threw his own right hand.
The more tell in thing is that it never happened again the rest of the fight. Floyd processed what happened and adjusted to that trap and Maidana didn't sniff it again. Manny can make no adjustment for his lunging and body position after throwing these wild punches...it's just who he is!
Let me ask you this...Can Manny beat Floyd following him around the ring for 12 rds?

Whats so silly about this vid is that you can literally make the exact video about ANY fighter(including Floyd)... pic screenshots and footage over a ten year span where they made a mistake, got hit, tripped etc a few times in... Leave out everything they've done successfully and name the video "How to beat BLANK"

nah...i dont think highly of porter...dude is a terrible boxer with flaws..gets by because hes strong as shyt..well if they ever faced off id expect maidana to beat that ass royally....don't get gassed off porter landing them once in a blue moon leaping hooks and crosses...paulie was just too old and foolish to not get hit with them bombs..

If Maidana can "fool" Floyd.....Manny can just as easily breh. No way you think that Marcos Maidana has better Ring IQ than Manny and that Manny cant just cut off his trademark "jab-jab-straight left" combo into a fake jab-straight left and catch Floyd while he's committed to the pull back counter. Examples of what Im talking about?
I dont see why Maidana can land clean on Floyd, but Manny cant. Doesnt mean Manny will beat him, but he will catch Floyd at some points in the fight.

First, that Ricky Hatton gif don't count. He literally walked onto that left hook. I'm sure Floyd would take some shots from Manny, but can Manny win following Floyd around the ring?
It's one thing to hit Timothy Bradley and Chris Algeri with these punches, but the way Floyd controls distance. Manny IMO would be forced to be more wreckless than normal. And I haven't even mentioned the jab yet. If Floyd chooses to use it, that actually could be the most important punch in the fight. He could potentially keep Manny in a position where hes constantly resetting.
I'm a Floyd fan, but the way I think this fight will turn out is more about the match up and what they both do in the ring than me being a fan. I just think Floyd is all wrong for Manny.

Is Floyd willing to go through hell to land the perfect counter? Even if Floyd thinks he could eventually drop PacMan, will he be willing to risk absorbing brutal shots for 8 or 9 rounds. And even when he counters, Manny will still be throwing because he wont fear Mayweathers power.
What makes you think he has to absorb punishment to land a counter, do you even know what a counter is

He is a hype job at 147, Manny was Gatti style crowed pleasing fighter the majority of his career, Hatton was washed up, he almost got KO'd the fight before and lost his confidence when he lost to Floyd
Cotto was weight drained coming off a terrible against Clottey, he obviously was struggling to make 147 as he approached 30 years old, and then he fight wa at 145 lmao
