No they "eat off",Manny because his defense is suspect and he's is a knock out first fighter. Knock out first fighters are always open to hit, you just have to catch them if you can. Manny's DEFENSIVE head movement is ALSO what gets him in the little trouble he has been in, FYI head movement is the first line of defense for a fighter like Manny, not footwork, see Tyson, so him not being able to get out of the way due to footwork isn't why fighters "eat off" of him, it's his total defense that's the problem. Breh, how many times have you see someone SERVE Manny? He rarely get eaten. I don't get it. Marquez is the ONLY one who gets to Manny and that mainly due to their styles and the number of times they faced each other. Timmy was gifted a fight vs. Manny and gave Manny good work in those fights but, no one has eaten off of Manny.

What does this have to do with our debate about his footwork, or lack thereof in your opinion? I know he can't be sloppy like that and expect to win vs. Mayweather, we aren't talking about Mayweather. Manny's footwork is much better than you're giving him credit for. We all can't move like prime Mayweather and it shouldn't be held against anyone.

I'm not saying his footwork is bad but his footwork is not up there at all. Manny used to get in and out on fighters he already hurt and he was feared back then. Algieri was catching him with clean punches to the head and body every time he would counter Manny. His head and lateral movement are also questionable but his offense though is top notch. The way he attacks you and Feints the left only to jab you with the right and setup the left to a combo beautifully. Can't complain about his offense at all. Dude is great at confusing his opponents and keeping Em off balance.

Okay mate. What's going to happen when the punch doesn't KO Mayweather...IF it catches him? What's going to happen if he adjusts and abandon thr shell and use footwork? People fail to realize that Mayweather DOES get hit, it just doesn't phase him too often. You have to catch him with the punch he doesn't see ala Shane and Chino in the second fight.

Who said Manny is smart all of a sudden? I didn't see that. He confuses opponent and keeps them off balance because of his good OFFENSIVE footwork, as I alluded to Master Teacher, it's his defense that's the problem and for him to downplay the effectiveness of Manny's footwork is wrong, Like I said, no one is saying that his footwork is historical or in the top 3. He has good and effective footwork and balance.

Truth of the matter is, Floyd hasn't been in the ring with a better all around fighter than Pacquiao his entire career and vise versa.

Both fighters have made mistakes in past fights, both fighters resumes can be picked apart easily..

Do I believe Pac can win? Yes, by KO and/or by a decision. Could Floyd win?? Sure, by a decision....

nikkas sayinh Pac's defense is suspect, well I say Floyd's power is VERY suspect... I believe Pac will force Floyd to fight at his pace unlike the rest of Floyds opponents, and how well Floydie is able to adjust to Pac's pace, speed, angles, and power at his borderline age will determine the outcome..
