This has to happen ever since Boxing got deregulated and Promoters like Haymon..Arum and Duva got to double as Managers and Promoters

So the old days of one promoter being SOLE ENTITY is long over especially when HBO entered the game and promoted as well

The reason Mayweather cross promotes with GOLDEN BOY is because GOLDEN BOY had the top Latino fighters that Mayweather needed

That bread that MAYWEATHER PROMOTIONS give GOLDEN BOY is thier cut for delivering the Latino fighter and promoting in the Latino market

And keep in mind I said HAD cause now AL HAYMON due to the generosity of former Golden Boy exec Richard Schaeffer has ties to a bulk of the GOLDEN BOY roster with the exception of Camelot ..Garcia and a few other notables since De LA Hoya took a short hiatus cause of Drug Rehab then turn around and betrayed Schaeffer by doing business with Arum.....
