Its official. Floyd Mayweather Jr. will face Robert Guerrero on May 4 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
After weeks and months of speculation, Guerrero finally gets the crack hes been waiting for, as most experts expected.
However, perhaps the biggest news to come out of the announcement is that Mayweather has inked a deal with Showtime and CBS, which should obviously come as a huge shock to rival network HBO, which has been televising Mayweathers fights for years.
According to Showtime, the deal enables Floyd to fight up to six times over the course of 30 months, the first of course coming on May 4. Showtime/CBS has not divulged any further information but this news has no doubt shifted the landscape of boxing.
Mayweathers new deal is said to be the biggest in the sport though financials have are deemed confidential (for now at least).
Man, Floyd need to start fighting some brothers. He starting to get on that philosophy when it come to opponents

Im not a fan of the Guerrero pick either but he's been at 147 now for his last 2 fights.
