Truly an ugly 1st half, but I'll gladly take 34 unanswered points in the 2nd and an 8-7 record. Eagles should now control the 7th seed. We just need for them to beat WFT next week, Miami to beat a New Orleans team starting Ian Book at QB on Monday, and for the Vikings to lose to GB in Week 17. That's all definitely possible.

It feels so good for the Eagles to be playing meaningful football in December. :mjcry:

I don't think he's made amends yet for refusing to run for the first half of the season

Wed be in control of the wild card race if he had

But a #7 seed and an honorable loss in the playoffs I think would redeem him

Eagles advance to the 7th Seed in the Playoffs at 8-7
Eagles Running Streak of 175 yards or more end at 7 games (They still finished with 130 yards rushing)
Lane Johnson gets a TD on his first pass and catch.
Eagles Defense Dominates both Giants QB's Fromm and Glennon.
Jalen Hurts: 26 Total TD's on the season

Defense came out strong the whole game. Offense came out flat but I feel that the short week hurt us in that faction. I noticed the teams that played on Tuesday didn't start out too hot. Jalen was getting flustered early in the 1st and some of the 2nd. Then things just switched. He was hitting some big passes. The running game started to get going. Then we just dominated in the 2nd half. So the Eagles are now on a 3 game winning streak and have won 6 of their last 8. We pretty much got to win out but things are shaping up good. Washington and then Dallas. There is a scenario Eagles can clinch next week as well. But they did a great job finishing out December with 3 wins.

I know the lack of rushing attempts gets the attention but that 2-5 start was deeper than that tbh. The penalties, all the shuffling on the OL with Mailata, Seumalo, Brooks, and Lane coming in and out, the inability to get stops on defense, etc

Maybe we win the 49ers game but that came down to getting stuffed in the redzone multiple times.

Sirianni deserves a ton of credit for adapting on the fly as a rookie HC while winning over a roster full of veterans who were used to doing things a certain way with Doug. Lurie's track record for identifying head coaching talent continues to look impressive.

i respect him and salute his work so far. it was looking bad for a min but he realized jalen isnt that qb or in the position to be dropping back 50 times a game slinging the rock. he realized the strength of our elite o line and went full ground pound with tons of rpos as well. first few weeks of the season it was easily a D/F and now id rate his performance as a solid B.

Reagor showing some life the last few weeks after that rock bottom in the first Giants game :ehh:

Best case scenario too, makes trading him way easier when you can sell teams on something. I'm hoping that Matthews for Darby type swap is out there somewhere.

Jalen Reagor and a conditional 7th Rd pick for a $2 off a medium Dunkin Donuts coffee coupon (only at participating locations, void where prohibited).

Howie, DO THE DEAL. :banderas:
