It’s actually not, they just stay on the field long bc the offense is usually putrid

:russ:

Breh, they are DEAD LAST in the league in points allowed, and are 44 points ahead of the 31st team (Titans).

We get it. Some of y'all don't like Hurts. AT ALL. And it's not like those of us who support him and wanna see him thrive don't see he's flawed. But this insisting on finding anything possible to denigrate him just completely unravels your own arguments because they don't come from an objective football standpoint. They come from an ego need to be "right".

I don’t need to overstate the Jets D to argue for or against Hurts. All I’m saying is they aren’t as bad the stats suggest. Injuries and not getting off the field on top of other things make them look worse than they really are. They’re not bums, especially if the offense gives them help.

At the end of the day, Hurts can’t make throws he needs to make consistently, Minshew at least gives the offense another dimension.

To our resident scouts.

What impact linebackers are either known to come out or may come out early??? This is fukking ridiculous.

Devin Lloyd from Utah is the LB I want the most- smart, sideline to sideline, can shed blocks and cover (he is a bottom of the first / top of the second rd guy)
Darrian Beavers from Cincy is an interesting mid level LB- very lengthy- good at shedding blocks

there is a LB from Bama who is petty good, i forget his name but he cant shed blocks well

Taking a knee in that spot is so p*ssy to me if you're the Jets

You have 2 timeouts, and enough time to get into field goal range. Plus it's a rookie qb who could use situations like that to develop

Plus your team stinks anyways, you're getting no stops on defense , and losing

Have some balls

What makes Lloyd not a top half of the 1st round guy? Can't rush the passer well? Just the prototypical tackling machine?

Are you more interested in athletic cover guys who can run around blocks, or less athletic ones who can shed blocks but may be Chris Gocong in coverage?

he need to clean up his tackling skills....I am not worried about that- he is so good in most other areas....he can be coached up in that area. Personally- I rather a LB who can shed..these offensive lineman are getting more and more athletic- I cant have a LB who , once a Guard gets his hands on him, its over.

I also like that he can play OLB and ILB- if he played in the SEC- he would definitely be ranked a little higher

Giving our history with non tackling LBs, you'd take that leap of faith that it could be cleaned up? Maybe its just me who is still scared off by the Ernie Simms type of LBs. Hitters that refuse or can't wrap up.

That was a nice throw to Quez

Good job of putting himself in a position to have a lane for the throw and then nice touch

Terrible throw to Smith on the next play though

Then the Jets just give it away with a terrible penalty lol. They're bad
