I mean, he has all the help in the world with a coach committed to the run and a decent offensive line. But, I definitely agree, he needed a change of sceneryits also clear that Wentz was a good QB as we all knew, but he simply needed a change of scenery and we needed to go in another direction as well
its as win-win a trade as I've ever seen
dolphins and colts really been killing our draft picks lately
I meant to reply to this yesterday and say that they're definitely gonna tag Bates and looking at the other FA safeties I don't think Honey Badger or McCourty would leave their teams at this point (and they've got a ton of miles at this point as well).I wouldnt call it crazy but I just think there are more pressing needs than WR- plus I dont wanna be the Detroit Lions of the old day drafting WR in the first round for 1000 years
Like everyone else- I am more keen on using the picks on defense, maybe a dominant offensive lineman...like a pro bowl level lineman...other than that load up the defense, if they are keeping Gannon (and its likely they will) this team NEEDS a blue chip safety and linebacker. I know they dont draft LB in the first round but getting a blue chipper in round 2 should be on the table. On the free agent front, looks like the Bengals still havent signed Jessie Bates- if there is any chance he hits free agency...we...need...to sign...him!
Great win. Don’t put too much on hurts passing wise and good defense play is the key.
Rest of our schedule is favorable. We gon be in the mix to the end of the season
There are WR2 options in Free Agency that I wouldn't mind the Eagles taking a shot at - Allen Robinson, DJ Chark, Courtland Sutton (if the Broncos don't re-sign him). A bigger-bodied guy. It's a need, because as good as he is, Devonta and Quez are never going to be a contested catch or RZ threats. A bigger, physical WR completes the group. But I wouldn't use a 1st there, either.I wouldnt call it crazy but I just think there are more pressing needs than WR- plus I dont wanna be the Detroit Lions of the old day drafting WR in the first round for 1000 years
