Plus, a lot of these sort of calls are grandstanding politics. I'm sure the actual work is happening behind the scenes, with state governments coordinating with DHS, FEMA and other federal agencies.

I disagree, I'm talking about the fight for those independents on a narrow margin. Obviously it won't matter in those circumstances although even Cruz is vulnerable to a possible loss in November.

I haven't been to Florida in years, so not sure what has changed in the demographics, but that seems like an unwise decision for any Haitian. I always thought it was rich white retirees, white Cubans, and racist red necks up north that kept Florida a republican state.
