This "move" has supposedly been in the world since 2020.

One article posted in here from 2021 said it would be completed by the end of 2022.

Then it was pushed back to 2023.

Most recently it was delayed again until 2026.

By the way, do you know the origin of idea of "expanding" into Florida?

They did it bc Disney was feuding with California Gov. Newsom over CA's COVID response plan not allowing Disneyland to reopen (unlike Florida/Disney World).

Disney is smart enough to know legions of idiots who don't care about the facts are easily manipulated into thinking this is a cultural war. When in reality it's just another example of a large company using their size/reach to squeeze concessions from a state/local government. Florida was going to give them more than $500,000,000 in tax credits for the "move."

You can spin this until you get jiggy with it, but the ground was broke on it, folks moved down there and the city had a meeting with documents in March 2023 on it at a council meeting and now it's bust. Now they're sending folks back home and cancelled it. Just like we told you would happen if he kept this up.

There is no secret manipulation. DeSantis is used to getting what he wants through bullying and ran into a real one.

I feel like he'd take away votes from desantis.

That's definitely the plan. I'm sure a few others that might've been on the fence have seen the news the last few weeks and think desantis is no longer as strong (or inevitable) as he seemed a few months ago.

The guy from N. Dakota could be a sleeper. He has money and he's just as right wing as any of the other candidates. But he's at risk of being drowned out bc within the next couple of weeks desantis, scott and christie will probably officially declare.
