Number one rule in presidential politics is you strike while the iron is hot. People told Bill Clinton and Obama to wait. If you wait you're risking something changing that will kill any chances in the future. Things you can't control. This is too good of an opportunity to pass up at his age. The contrast b/tn he and trump and Biden plays into his favor and he'd probably rather run in a year when he has only one major primary opponent.
