I can see your point and agree that such movies have an impact on American consent. But we might be using a different definition of propaganda. Do they make pro-military movies because they want to gain American consent or because pro-military movies make money? A movie where Captain America beats the Nazis or Ironman defeats muslim terrorists is going to appeal to the masses more than a movie that doesn't utilize a beloved American narrative.

Look at how Winter Soldier took on the military machine when the Iraq War became generally unpopular, or how Black Panther addressed American racism once that became the wave, and I'd say Disney is more trying to follow trends than create them.

They literally get funding from the Military industrial complex breh, it’s well documented. They get access to real life US military equipment. They are basically an arm of the defense department. Again, any leftist source would tell you that it’s also documented in mainstream media. Yeah breh breaking bad had plenty of pro DEA propaganda I think anyone can see that lol. I enjoyed the show too for what it was; im not a cynical guy personally. It was still piff. An agency like the DEA isn’t giving out money for their health brother that’s a little naive. As for winter soldier I’ve never seen that.

In my opinion (just my humble opinion) the threat changes on a case by case basis. In 1924 the biggest threat was violent white supremacy and that is borne out by the events of that year. However in 2022 to me looking at the events of the last couple years the biggest threat seems to be the rapid collapse of Black economic power. Black people are right now poorer than they have been in decades. This leads to a whole host of other problems which are destroying the community like drug use, gang violence, health issues, and urban decay. I am aware that it is happening in part due to a system of white supremacy but the corporations accelerating this are not targeting blacks because they hate them, they target them because they’re easy prey. Just look at the polluting oil companies destroying the gulf coast. Again just my opinion. If you disagree because you are a black American and have a different perspective I respect that 100 percent.
