Very stupid decision by the cop to knock on the door initially and not identify himself and hide from view.
When Roger looked and saw nobody there and then hears a louder knock, I'm sure he's put on edge and gets his gun to see what's going on. Even on the later knocks, the cop is hiding from view. I don't understand why he would think that is a good idea.

Well george floyds death got laws changed in many states regarding how officers engage the public and how arrests are handled so it all depends whos leading the charge and what the people want to see happen. Is Florida a politically conscious stage?
