Same can be said for all these CW shows. 23 episodes is WAY too many to effectively tell one story. Eventually they just end up writing whole filler episodes that have nothing to do with the arc of the season, and coupled with month long breaks between episodes, ends up breaking the flow of the story.Caitlyn and her family had some of the worst acting I have ever seen on this show
The Nora/Thawne stuff was great.
This season is too long though. They need to wrap this shyt up

Team Flash always making emotional selfish decisions. Why even be mad at Barry? He sent her home. She shouldn't be in their time and shouldn't there be consequences for her arriving in the past before her birth? Worst of all they get mad at Sherlock their most competent member, If I were him I would've dipped. The stuff with Caitlin's family was corny. Why didn't she tell her mom her dad was on the loose? And how the hell did he move fast enough to get back in the room to sacrifice himself

I wonder what the pitch was for Cicada. “Let’s take the most forgettable actor from American Pie, give him vaguely defined powers, a dagger or some shyt, and a season long arc of being a serial murderer than could actually be accomplished in a single night if he was determined.”
It would save the season for me if they don’t actually resolve it, but Cicada becomes a troll regular. He just randomly shows up like Tuxedo Mask in other seasons to off the bad guy of the week at the climax.
