Fivio Foreign dropped by Columbia Records

I think the only Drill artist I’ve ever seen get dropped and became hot again was Durk

He don’t even make drill music anymore.

Fivio still does numbers and still sells out his shows.

50 artists just got dropped from Atlantic 2 weeks ago. All labels are cutting back because the market has proven them to be useless and they haven’t figured out a new way to exploit artists to make money.

What shows is he selling out? Have you been to one? Is it a club or an actually venue?

Noticed a steep decline in his popularity and engagement after the Age gate thing. Ye and Alicia Keys gave him a life line but he wasn’t really doing nothing in the market imo

I don’t think he was popping enough to take a political stance like endorsing Trump and be ok.

Dude should have begged Kanye to produce an album for him. His off the grid verse was one of top 3 verses that year. He did not capitalize on it.

he blew up at too old of an age for the type of music he was making it was never gonna last, he never had the likeability, marketability, or core fanbase to really do numbers outside of a song or a feature, he lucky kanye extended his career a extra year or 2 during that donda run
