Cac sensationalism.

It was an isolated incident, and it was just a bill proposal, a bit like how they come up with absurd bills (arizona anyone?) doesn't mean it will be approved on a national level, if at all.

you mean like the U.S does every month?

Arizona bill allowing refusal of service to gays

Lets not pretend like every country have crazy congress reps. Doesn't mean they represent the entire country. Media like sensationalism and causing conversation.

Ugandan media is not irresponsible enough to write: US BILL ALLOWING REFUSAL TO SERVICE AND HIRE GAYS.

We leave such things to western media. Globally we're not as ignorant and irresponsible, we don't rely on 'fast information', globally people take time to read newspapers and articles rather than just headlines.

Americans don't read articles, they just read headlines. That is why wiki is so popular. Quick information without research.

You misunderstood me I think. I'm sayin Uganda's bill is drawing attention to the fact that many African countries have this type or similar policies. The gay crusade is outta control as is, but they need to calm the fukk down and leave Africa out I don't like the continent being involved in Babylon fukkery.
I don't know what a gay crusade means.

There are over 50 something countries in africa, if one chooses to generalise based off a half a dozen countries, they shouldn't be reading articles on africa. :manny:

If you were in America you'd understand, I don't want this dumb shyt happening in Africa. They'll end up being more concerned with the right for a fakkit to wear a "I suck cocks" t-shirt than poverty, education, etc.

The article is misleading here. The 2nd link it gives totally doesn't explain it nor go over it. It neither supports the article in it's misleading either. Then the title itself says Uganda( like in the whole country) they are doing this. 17 men in 2 different incidents isn't the whole country, nor is it mobs of people. We have to be careful in sensationalizing events and be informed on all the details.

Btw....it's very disrespectful and wrong for those 17 men to ever do that to the women and should be held accountable.

The reason it's getting press is that the country just passed a crazy ass bill before this one, meaning it's possible that this one will pass, too.
