:smh: 4K will never be a mainstream home entertainment format. 4K is format that is strictly meant for movie theaters.

They have to sit that close (probably even closer) to experience the full 4K image. Another reason 4K is only meant for movie theaters.

:snoop:

1080p has already looked :flabbynsick: for those with 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 monitors.

Expect to pay about 5 racks for that TV until Vizio comes out with something similar to undercut it.
Sharp is the only manufacturer that makes the 70in, 80in, 90in and I think 100in model TVs.

Not too many other manufacturers make LED/LCDs over 60 to 65in.

nikka only Rich, Wealthy videophiles will buy a 4K TV. There are still too many stupid people who are think DVD looks good enough compared to Blu-ray & still don't have an HDTV.

Stupid people who think DVD looks good enough compared to?

You ever think you might be the stupid one? Cuz every blu-ray does not look :ahh:
MOST of them look pretty much identical to a DVD bruh.
It all depends on what type of movie.. what type of scenes are shown
And even then.. most of the time, Blu-Ray shines during "shots"

Batman, TDK... certain scenes look :wow:
But the majority of the movie will look the same as a DVD. You thought every blu-ray looked :noah: huh man?

DUMBASS!

I can see where 4K's purpose when it comes to sets that size though... the bigger the set the more blemishes you start to see in 1080p... but you have to have a nice size room for it to be comfortable IMO.

I have a 70in and it took me a while to adjust to the viewing angle on that. That's why I was like...

:what:

When I saw how close they were sitting to that 84in set in the video. I couldn't do it.

Not trolling at all. If Blu-ray was a MUST for all movies, there would be no DVD's right now
Blu-ray players can be bought at wal-mart for under $50 now
I only buy blu-rays for visual masterpieces and now... certain 3D movies :boss:
I made the mistake of buying just any ol' movie in blu-ray.. makes ZERO difference.
When DVD came out, did nikkaz say "Nah, I'm good with my VHS"
Why the fukk are DVD's still here and the main medium if blu-ray was so great?
EXACTLY, but feel free to front...
they can barley do 1080p and 3d right... save 4k games for ps5 :beli:
I'm happy with my 3D :ehh:
They can't and don't do 1080p native games right now, so of course there won't be 4k games next gen. You gotta remember who said that :hula:
Even the supposed 1080p games are not 1080p except for NBA Homecourt and 2 other games that dropped way back then.
I could point to GT5 and how they said it would be 1080p but didn't mention how they lowered a bunch of shyt to make that happen :scusthov:

Or I could point to the fact that these companies have said about 2yrs ago that next gen would be Native 1080p gaming.
So to answer your questions, no. Fatbroad is just overzealous when it comes to his gaystation...

:Smh: No, you is 1 of the stupid people I mentioned before. If you do the math, Blu-ray is superior to DVD. Blu-ray is 6x the resolution of DVD and has a vastly superior color depth.

I bet you think your eyes can see the difference between 6x and 5x the resolution too, huh man?
1080i vs 1080p, its like night and day, huh man?

You lack reading comprehension, so let me say it again slower for you....

YOu... cannot... tell... the difference... between a bluray... and a dvd.... in a lot of.... cases.
What your attempting to say is that every blu-ray will destroy a DVD, but that is only true to children who want to hype up there new toy.
Once that wears off for ya, you'll notice there isn't a big enough difference to even warrant paying double the price.
Often times, you wouldn't notice a difference.

A DVD on a GREAT TV would look comparable to a blu-ray on an average HDTV :hula:
Of course that doesn't apply to every movie, but the majority of them

Yes it does! Whenever I compare DVDs to their Blu-ray counterpart, the DVD ALWAYS looks washed out compared to the Blu-ray.

When DVD came out, did nikkaz say "Nah, I'm good with my VHS"
YES people actually did do that. VHS didn't finally die off till the studios stopped releasing movies in VHS back in 2003.

:stopitslime: STFU BREH.

This is why we derail your threads motherfukker.

DVD is NOT comparable to ANY bluray film faggit.

I watched Taking Pelham 1,2,3 and that sh1t was unbelievably clear. I'm not really shocked your saying that as you tout your shiny, glorified dvd player as the best console ever.

The video showing the courtyard playing on the TV made it look like you were looking out a window.

Watching 4K porn on this...

Gonna feel like you're on the edge of their bed :wow:

Your stats that you stay posting proves one thing.
You wasn't around when the shyt actually popped off.
Yall see this dude... "VHS died when studios stopped making them in 2003"
Is that really information you retained, or just googled :rudy:

Look bruh. DVD dropped. People was slowly moving towards it
Then the ps2 dropped, and all of a sudden, everybody had a DVD player.
VHS died off QUICKLY after that. By the time the ps3 came out 5yrs later, nobody was fukkin with VHS but old ladies bruh.

Here we are 5/6yrs after the ps3 dropped, and DVD is still the most popular
Do you need to google that, or would you rather just open your eyes?
Go to a walmart and see what is prominently displayed when you walk in
DVD's or Blu-rays :beli:
