Even though the new Total Recall apparently sucked, you would've thought the original was the Godfather the way people reacted to it being remade

lol word. I'd understand if they were trying to remake The Terminator or some random 90's movie..I even understood the Total Recall backlash


but come on, a 2012 interpretation of a Stephen King novel that happened to be made into a 1970's horror movie isn't anything to get all up in arms about. Either see it or don't.



its been nearly 40 years since Carrie dropped. I'm personally looking forward to it. I always check for the director before flaming a movie, and the woman who's doing this also did "Boy's Don't Cry" so

these films (like the "it" remake) are going off the actual novel, not the original films. its hardly even a remake tbh.

besides, some of these old films are being held at a higher regard than they should be. Carrie is obviously an important movie because of the blood scene and its effect on pop culture or whatever, but its really not a good movie.

Let's not get crazy. The original is a great movie.
