Looks good to me
Cyborg is the last one. And all signs point to John Stewart. Rock was campaigning for the role a year ago and Tyrese drove to WB studios a few weeks back to plead them for the role.. Tyrese also kind of dry snitched on social media that the role is being held up for Idris Elba, who has to wait until his Marvel contract ends in 2017 (Thor 3) before WB could nab him.
Hopefully the rumors are true and WB is biding their time for Idris. Would explain all the ambiguity/stalling in casting for the GL character.
yeah i agreeRealistically? Nah... I feel that's just too tight of a timeline unless Idris and WB already have a verbal agreement that he'll indeed take the role as soon as he finishes filming Thor 3.. or else why stall for someone who may not even take the role and then be screwed in trying to find someone last second if he declines?
One positive that gives some hope is the rumor that the JL movie is a 2-part film in which GL doesn't appear until the very end of the 1st film (for plot advancement) which means there wouldn't be a big time commitment needed for the GL actor as far as filming/being on site.
If Idris/WB have a verbal or under the table agreement that he'll take the role, then WB has laid out everything nicely for a smooth transition. Otherwise, no way will they wait that long on an uncertainty. My fingers are crossed tho
he didn't talk down he was just in his feelingsI could've swore I've read where Idris talked down on the genre after taking more serious roles like Mandela. Hard to believe he would take another long term comic obligation.
Looks like roman reigns
Looks nothing like Aquaman...but badass nonetheless
to Jon Stewart and Hal Jordan being the GL
DC need to bless us with Kyle Rayner instead
Rayner?!?!?!
