I have no idea what conversation you think you saw Travis Charest have about the 1986 Aquaman mini but he had nothing at all to do with it. That was a Craig Hamilton drawn book and the new suit was designed by Hamilton too.

so, your suggestion is going to fall on deaf ears.
most of the guys here don't like anything related to swimming and don't know why.
so, off top your suggestion was going to be met with opposition.
not to mention, this is aquaman and making a superhero into a lithe frame swimmer style guy is not gonna work.
especially when aquaman is concerned because aquaman is connected to being weak in this gen.
so, having him be a swimmer body style character was just not a great suggestion, at all.

The blond hair as an omen of bad tidings thing was not part of Aquaman's original origin. it was added in a reboot of his origin in the 1980s but that has been dropped with his current origin.

And Momoa looks cool and intimidating. It is cracking me up seeing all the fanboys on other sites whining about why doesn't he look like he does in the comics like anyone would be wearing some bright ass orange and green costume in a big budget live-action movie.

That's what I'm saying. I mean, I like his classic outfit, but something closer to his bad-ass king look from the '90s was always going to be the case with live-action. I think the look is good. They incorporated the chain/scale look from his orange shirt into his armor and tattoos, so they did try to honor it.

They could've went in a different direction in my opinion and rock the boat. He is looks too solid in my opinion.

When you see mamoa next to Caville you'll probably have a different opinion


Dude is naturally big yes... but thats it. He's not a fukking bodybuilder which for some reason you keep hinting at. And if he LIVES underwater I expect he does more there than just swim, he would probably look more like Mamoa in size anyway. The zero gravity and the amount of pressure going deep in the ocean while being able to fight underwater would make him more muscular than "olympic swimmers" who do laps in pools



So again I'll bring it up... have you seen what most Navy Seals look like

And I mean in person... I have. I've even worked out with a lot of them. They're not as big as Mamoa but they don't look like a Olympic pool swimmers neither
