Extra masculine Black women that resemble Vikings.
Curly head white adjacent forbidden love story.
Viola ”Kissing white men empowers me” Davis.

Yeah this is a platinum bootleg for me, off to Canal st I go.

You gotta peep game w the “kind” of Black women that find these movies good or empowering.

I would love to see an actual Black person tell the story of the Nubian Kandake defeating the Roman Empire or Nzinga tho.

At the bolded part - Have you seen Njinga: Queen Of Angola (Portuguese: Njinga: Rainha de Angola)? It's an Angolan historical epic film directed by Sérgio Graciano. The film stars Lesliana Pereira as Queen Njinga Mbandi. It was directed by a white guy but the film is pretty good.

Myself and my own.
So Hollywood is going to have black people (a lot of them women based on this thread) cheering for the people who played a part in enslaving their ancestors and slaughtering their families and is a group that is fairly reviled in many parts of Africa even to this day? Really?
