The funniest part of all this is that it was because he was wearing a Sanchez jersey. He woulda been safer rockin a Brady jersey. Says a lot about what we think of our QB.

Tell em AJ

Once they moved into the new stadium he was finished. There's no commraderie anymore...sections are all different. Ed sat with people that go back 30+ years....in the new stadium he sits with hedge fund folks.

The new stadium sucks too.

I know I kept lying to myself, but throughout the season, Rex STAYED being out executed on defense. Anytime an offense shifts and forces the Jets to put one of their slow ass LBs or safeties on a receiver the QB automatically goes to that receiver. I think Revis not being there hurt our coverage, but lord, it became an easy read to me from the stands before the snap.

Yeah, I think Rex's best years can summed up as this, scheme.

It was a tremendous scheme, and it worked for those 1st 2 years, league adjusted to it and he hasn't been the same coach since.

A lot of blame goes on Rex for holding his players accountable too, something he never does.

Santonio can be a jerk off. Mark can suck. Bart can be zombie slow. Shonne Greene can be abysmal.

It's all okay because the coach shows zero discipline, there is no danger of losing a job or even being benched. You`ll just get a big pat on the back and be told how good you are.

I do think Revis being hurt has most to do with the scheme not working.

Those safeties and LBs being moved around wouldn't be as much had Revis been on the field. He's never really adjusted to life without him.

Most folks here dont go that far back...Ed turned into a attention whore, but it was great at the old stadium the rare times the Jets were good and he got the entire place going.

No one gave a fukk about the guy with the pan because no one cared.

The bleacher creatures are a better comparison.
They got rid of them and the new stadium sucks,.

They're still there. You just don't hear them outside of the roll call. They're no more happy about the stadium than you are, especially since there's always some usher trying to censor them.

Yeah, Revis being hurt does hurt the team a lot.

But aside from that, there'd still be no pass rush and the LB's would be slow as fukk.

I think the worst part where Rex failed is the discipline and accountability.

I think we'd see more four man rushes with Coples on the field had Revis been back there.

What disgusts me is the three man rushes on third down.

Jets fans :heh:

Giants should make em play their games in the parking lot. Disgrace. Fireman Ed deserves props for being a fireman. At least he's not NYPD Ed:usure:

It's fukked up that the Giants should even have to share a stadium with such a despicable franchise. Jets fans make it all the more worse, they talk the most shyt by far.

I have no fukking idea why, but I've always kind of rooted for the Jets. And I've always thought Fireman Ed was embarrassing. I really think they're going to can Rex and he's going to find a team with some talent and win a Super Bowl.

Yes, once he rassumes his former position as defensive coordinator.

The man has ZERO knowledge of how to build an offense and even less tact when it comes to personnel issues and dealing with the locker room.

Just as an example, I work with someone who is a jets fan who credits his recovery from alcoholism to the Giants, because when they won superbowl 42 he couldn't show his face at any of the bars he used to go to because of all the shyt he talked :laff:

He's not an isolated case, Jets fans, in my experience, just aren't the brightest or most civilized of fanbases. I understand you gotta stick up for your peers, but anybody who deals with them on a regular basis knows the truth. Jets fans are, on average, fukking a$$holes. We were at a sports bar for the Giants-Cowboys game on opening night and there were Jets fans there with sanchez and revis Jersey's there cheering after every bad Giants play, and celebrating after we lost :why: who the fukk does that? These dudes care more about the Giants losing than they do about their own team winning. I can't take shyt like that seriously.

Dog....I'm at Jets games and no one cares about the Giatns and rightfully shyt on our own team.

I listen to turn on the Jets and don't hear this.

I go on Jets messageboards and don't see this.

Who are these Jets fans talking shyt? :childplease:

I swear...you dudes straight up manufacture or over do it around one person to justify bs.
