Depends on the station. Most of the newer ones built in the last 50 years are single story. Older ones built back when they had horse drawn fire trucks are 2 or 3 stories with poles. We have stations in my dept that are 100+ years oldY'all really got a pole like strippers?

Depends on the what the conditions are…it’s some fires I’ve been on my stomach cuz the coolest place was the floor. Others I could stand straight up (I’m 6’2) and the heat was tolerableTell the coli the truth. Firefighters don't "run" into burning buildings. They crawl.
