I don’t want to do another temp job (plant) nor retail again. What y’all suggest?

Doordash and grubhub you can easily make $20+ an hour and you only work when you want to. I do doordash now full time till I can find a professional job I like and I average $15-20 an hour on slow days Monday- Wednesday and $25+ Thursday- Sunday

Biggest thing you need to work on is time management. Without that, you won't make it anywhere even at the bottom rung of employment. At 26 with no children there should be no reason why you were constantly late for work.

Once you get that down you need gain soft skills like salesmanship, client management, professional attitude/demeanor, work ethic. None of things require a certification or an education. Just experience and people who will vouch for you. Do you know how to use Microsoft office, create a spreadsheet, Power Point?

You could always enroll in a PhD program or go to law school
Academia is desperate for warm bodies
You could coast for a few years .. Little to no accountability,, and they don't take attendance :jawalrus:

you could also join a jazz septet or octet
...the key is to adopt a very spare style
Play as few notes as possible and always waive off your solos
You might perform on half a dozen live albums before people catch on
On the downside, they do take attendance:flabbynsick:

Don’t be mad, UPS is hiring :troll:

But forreal, make money doing Uber DoorDash Instacart and other jobs to have some pocket change while you look for a new job. Also file for unemployment.

There’s a lot of people hiring right now, so you should be alright depending on your experience. LinkedIn has a long list of remote jobs by location, go on their and check them out

Do you still live with ya parents? Enroll in school.

If you don’t want to do that apply for a job that isn’t a plant or retail.

My recruiter said they fired me on attendance but since last week I have had to use paperwork because the new time clock won’t take my cards. I told them that last week immediately. Even one of the supervisors emailed someone for me. I literally saw the bytch do it. I think they just decided to fire me cause they felt like it.
If they wanted you back they’d have you back as multiple people or your direct manager would stick up for you.. especially over a mistake on their part.

Just being honest.
