I get that you're speaking on your personal experiences but like dude above....that doesn't necessarily apply to the rest of the country or world. You don't seem to understand that you are the odd man out here, not me. The average person didn't own a computer....wasn't on the 'net....and most people did not even know half the shyt you're talking about (chat rooms, message boards, internet battling, etc. ) existed in 1999. Or hell, even 2000.

I wasn't in NY. I was in Kansas City, Missouri which is roughly the same population as Miami. So it wasn't like I was out in the middle of nowhere. But again....using NY, the largest city in the U.S,. as an example of what was going is not accurate, at all.

Fair enough breh. That just seems bugged to me. And my parents weren't rich by means. I didn't own a top of the line comp forget a laptop. BUT cats was still on the net, through school and other means. One fam might have shared one shyt huge boxy looking piece of a comp, but the net was still there.

Hot97 was always on some bullshyt. I'm not even mad at the lower level workers that knew about it because they didn't necessarily empower him. I'm looking sideways at the ones that act holier than thou, are buddy buddy with him, or are lying about it. And the people that hired him and actually do have some control over hip hop (Emmis Communications), they deserve all of the smoke.
