By the numbers, Casey did great things in Toronto, but by no stretch of the imagination should Toronto have not had a competitive series with Cleveland last year. I was at game 1. I saw what happened in the 4th Q. He completely abandoned his game plan and just kept giving Derozan the ball to watch him fail and fail and fail for the last six minutes of regulation. Raps were up double digits late in that game and defending Cleveland really well and he just gave it away.

Casey has years of playoff futility...Nikkas in here wont recognize Caseys failures even if you show them the streamable video lol....They just repeat the same BS over and over....

Same Casey that got swept last year and in '15 lol...

Casey stinks and has repeatedly stunk when it counts but its the fans pointing it out that are the problem...

The only thing Casey has done well has been not being afraid to bench Derozan in key spots (ie: Game 2 in Indiana in 2016), the game before all star break in 2017 against the Hornets, and game 3 2018 Playoffs against the Cavs.

If there's one thing I can say about him is that he recognized how much of a liability Derozan was. Also the positive in Casey is that he's good at building a culture and has his guys willing to play hard for him. Raptors always had a never say die attitude......besides that he stinks.

Even yesterday against the Raptors, I felt like he left Drummond on the bench way too long which allowed the Raptors to get such a huge lead in the first place.

VanVleet was hurt in last year's playoffs primarily because in game 82 against the Heat, Casey decided to go all out and play his guys in a meaningless regular season game.

Maybe VanVleet makes that clutch 3 in game 1 against the Cavs if he's not recovering from a shoulder injury.
