If you’re advocating for the firing of Tomlin, you’re c00ning :yeshrug:

I don't think anyone is reasonably calling for Tomlins firing.

But at what point does the Steelers FO become critical of Tomlins lack preparedness and discipline? Tomlin has been unjustifiably bulletproof, especially when you consider that PIT is a SB contender and has always made it a point to show that SB wins are what they're after ("stairway to 7/7-up, etc).

Really... that Game probably shouldnt have been that close. But damn AB and Bell are great and made some tough plays on those TDs... and throw in the one before half to Bryant....

As a Jags fan I was happy they kicked the Onside because i felt like we would have ran it 3 straight then punted. Fournette was banged up and wasnt able to cut as hard at that point. So once i saw they were kicking the onside kick, i knew that was game.

What hurt Pitt were those 4th down attempts they missed.... that pitch play was a terrible idea. The pass play on the second 4th down attempt was actually a good play call but Bouyee got away with a little grabbing then made a play on the ball.

My Jags should have won that easily though....

They will keep Tomlin.

tomlin is 10x the coach cowher ever was and it didn't take him over a decade to win a super bowl, but nobody ever called for Cowher's firing

the team flat out over looked the jags

I'm not sure how you overlook a rematch with a team that handed you your ass earlier in the season but they apparently did it.

That said, Tomlin deserves to keep his job. I thought the onside kick call was dumb, but every situational play call such as that one could be considered dumb unless it works.

Plenty of Steeler fans wanted Cowher gone. Especially following the 3 non playoff seasons in the late 90's/AFCCG L's. The problem is that in dissing Tomlin and propping up Bill they forget they had the same criticisms of Cowher back then with all the playoff failures.

The man likes to gamble and is aggressive

Those 4th down attempts and conversions were :whoo:

Alot of other coaches are punting in those 4th and long situations regardless of the score.

Give Mike his credit. Steelers defense was just ass today.

They gave up 38pts to Blake Bottles :snoop:

His problem has been and will be DISCIPLINE until he finally grows up.

This team plays how he acts, immature, world beaters who can do anything. He thought that they could get that onside kick back because "we the shyt".

This team plays down to the competition because "we the shyt"

They didn't look past the Jags they just thought "we gonna beat them because we the shyt".

There is no sense of urgency with this team. You're down by three TD's but jumping up and celebrating a first down, celebrating TD's when you're playing from behind, there is no seriousness with this team and it starts with Tomlin.

I am the first person to say that Cowher was overrated and made binehead decisions but give him this talent and he easily has three rings at least.

Tomlin has to grow up or ship out. I don't want him gone but he's young, he came in the league young and had immediate success. Someone has to tell him "it's cool to be tight with your players but they have to be disciplined". That time is this off-season.

You know what's funny about this is that Belichick tells his players "we ain't shyt" even after winning:mjlol:

I hope they keep Tomlin:youngsabo:
