Why would u not blow up a team that can't make it to the 2nd round in the worst conference of all time? If we keep the same core then Masai needs to get fired. I think Demar or Ross are gone for sure. Maybe a draft night deal. Raptors should go after Jordan Hill and not resign Amir. I've watched Hill enough to know he's a better player on both ends but he is injury prone.

i agree the days of no one wants to play in toronto, its the middle of nowhere dumb ish is gone. Derozan has a very very attractive contract, only getting like 10 mill a year for the next 2 or 3 years. Guys like eric gordon are geting 14 mill etc.

Only guy untradeable to me is jonas and even then if its the right offer id move him

you never know
raptors didnt have to deal with injuries this year, a pulled hamstring, acl tear, and your back to missing the playoffs

plus atlanta will have horford back next year, charlotte will be better, washington better, bulls rose will be better, boston, orlando, philly, milwaukke all will have high draft picks and will be better

Naaaaa you have major defensive issues with this group....you need to bring in some new guys to break up all the bad habits infiltrated within this group...

They havent played a good defensive game since the Memphis home win in early march...They lost this series because of there defense was terrible...

Every team in the east is getting better and the bottom ones are getting franchise players or top talent. The window for success with this core was literally 1 season. Blow it up.

I wouldnt write them off making the playoffs but they will be a lower seed and wont be in as good a position as this season where they had a great chance to win a round...

I dont trust this core group to be able to win a round as is now that i have seen them...With pressure the offense went bad and the defense was just horrific too often in a series where there not even playing a great team offensively....alot of it is just we have some dumbasses on this team that will make it hard to win a close tight series where it comes down to a handful of plays...

We have dummies like Amir and demar who lose there focus and make huge mistakes in games where u cant afford them like today...Add to that you have a moron for a coach...i wouldnt bet on next year at all...

Especially not to win a series not as is....

few things wrong with that comparison.

1. Val is one of the best young bigs in the league and unlike the Knicks center, isn't HIV positive.

2. the Raptors second best player isn't some volatile cokehead only capable of capable consistent, winning basketball in small stretches.

3. the Raptors didn't depend on a host of vets on their way out this season.

Val disappeared after game 3
He wasnt getting touches (and he shouldnt have)
but his defense and rebounding was not good at all last few games...

dudes need to stop acting like the Macro variables in the east/league will be the same. Thinking that raps making changes will propel them to further heights next year, all else being equal. All else will not be equal next year, especially in the east. The east had one of the worst years from a record & injury perspective. If rose was in and healthy all season, we wouldn't have gotten 3rd. Celtics traded away their whole team and will be making major moves off season, and a lot of teams str8 up tanked to make it a race to the bottom in hopes of gaining from one of the best drafts it looks like we'll have in the past 5 years.

Raps need to get right, or get left. There is a damn good reason they went nowhere for the past 7 years. We got very lucky with that Rudy deal, with things working out how they did, but again, all else will not be equal from the macro perspective next year. Knicks/Phil already plottin, Celtics plottin, Nets billionaire will prob just buy more ppl and pay more tax, he gives no fuks, and who knows what will happen with Rose & the bulls.

you know now that i think about it the defense wasnt bad. until Joe Johnson ran a trainon us. Give us a tony allen, sefolosha type and that is no longer an issue. We just didnt have an SF to match with him
