What about this defense would make you optimistic ? Were smaller,we dont defend and we have an idiot coach...Where does one breed confidence in those attributes ?
I dont thnk Miami Charlotte Boston Indiana Milwaukee are better than us but im not confident against any team with NBA players coached by someone other than Dwayne Casey at the moment.
Take a quick overview of the last 3 months,what body of work would you consider promising heading down this stretch ?

look at those defensive stats for March,no way you can be optimistic about this team...
We have 10 games left and we our starters do not know how to guard a pick and roll who and do not understand you cant go under screens and give up open 3s...

Its more about them struggling just as much while having terrible coaching than it is about us being any sort of great team. They just blew a 10+ lead in the 4th against indy tonight. Beal has been pretty terrible this year, and I don't think they're better anywhere outside of Wall.
If Lowry isn't healthy for the playoffs I would agree we probably lose that series though.
Lowry dont matter,we've stunk WITH Lowry since January...

Were not good enough to assume teams are bad enough we cant lose to them...We go under screens,we dont close out,we dont rebound,we dont box out,we cant guard on the ball or in the PnR and our offense is equally terrible under pressure like in the playoffs...
You cant argue with the numbers,THIS is what we are,not what we were in November..
Wiz and Heat have more then enough to beat a lazy defensive team...
Not saying we can't lose to them, just I don't think we will. Yeah we're bad and lazy on D, but Washington is just as terrible offensively as we are on D. They're actually a pretty good defensive team so I think it would be an even series and our depth and home court advantage (if they hold on to it) would be the difference and we'd take it in 6 or 7.
Either way, we're debating who would win a 1st round series of bad teams, neither of us really know who would win
