Fam, he's never been in the playoffs before, getting bounced in the 2nd round would be a deep playoff run for him. He's not opting out, he'll lose money if he does with the new TV deals coming why opt out just to lock into a max that will be lower than you can get the next year.


I don't think the Cavs win the title this year, I'd be shocked if they did, teams put together rarely win in their first year. I've said from jump they would have a much better shot at it next year.

Depth would become:
Lowry / Vasquez
Demar / Lou
JJ / Bruno
Amir / Patman
Boogie / Hansbrough

I might consider it if we had a plan to get another big man...The problem with that deal is that even tho we get the best center in the league were still thin in the front court and going from JV to DMC were getting smaller as well...Id prefer to hold onto one of those picks and use in a deal to get a secondary big...

His contract sucks but he does bring toughness and veteran leadership. With Amir coming off the books its possible that it could work.
