I don't think he'll sign an extension this summer but I don't think he opts out, that way he'll be able to get the new max once the TV deal takes over. Teams might be flush with a lot of capspace so he'd be able to get the new max and then leave the Cavs if that's what he wants, or get the extra year from them.
