Breh, take your negativity somewhere else. I really don't give a shyt of what we should be. I am just going to enjoy who they are. And who they are, is a team on a 5 game win streak who is 32-15 a couple days away from febuary. I am cool with the Raps right now
Nope imma keep the realness right here,this team is an absolute smokescreen of moist fakkity softness...Last years team actually gave you hope,cuz they were ALOT better defensively and actually beat good teams convincingly...

We were losing to bad teams a few weeks back and now we're beating them, as we should be. Not sure where these complaints are coming from. This team is still developing. Like I said a few weeks ago, y'all are too reactionary.
As I predicted, Derozan's return has resulted in wins. Now, after the all-star break we'll get a less exhausted and banged up Lowry and a healthy Derozan and this team should start beating better teams.
With that being said, our defensive issues have more to do with Casey's rotations than lack of ability from our players. Hansbrough is a terrible defender and he was on the floor during most of Brooklyn's run. Hansbrough needs to not see the floor at all unless the rest of the team is in serious foul trouble. Also, Chuck Hayes needs more minutes. Valanciunas can't be in the game against agile offensive bigs. And he needs to COMMIT to his defensive rotations. Too often he gets stuck in no-man's land on rotations, resulting in easy shots in the paint for opponents or bad defensive rebounding position.

I dont enjoy ugly ass basketball so its fair to say im not enjoying where i know this season is headed...
I'm not denying that but our D tends to be bad with certain players on the floor--guys Casey continues to keep in our rotation.
Yes I know, your the realist, when the the Raps fail, you will get to say I told you so. After whining about every fukking game the raps play, win or lose. I am just going to enjoy the ride breh. I will be happy/pissed with some W's, and Shrug and be pissed with some L's. And I also know the Raps are not winning the NBA title this year.

Second IF they beat Washington then theres no need to say shyt,but thats issue..they dont beat the good teams,they beat the awful teams and often times struggle to do it.....Beat an elite team and ill have "some" hope going into the playoffs thats this D can be fixed......were averaging 100.6 PPG against and we've generally been gawd awful since that west coast trip....no reason to be optimistic until they show something on the court...

I think the issue is you're expecting more from this roster than what they are realistically capable of. This roster as composed is not going to play elite defence. Big V is slow at rotation, Amir and 3Pat are too small, Ross, Vasquez, and Derozan can't guard anybody one on one...like A LOT of the players on this team are not good defenders individually. They are what they are. They're overachieving in all honesty and Casey is doing a good job with this squad overall, even if he has his issues with rotations.
Too many nights this team gives up open looks uncontested and easy drives to the basket.This team is more than capable of closing out shooters and contesting shots at the basket and boxing rebounders out.
Its ok if you do those things and you get beat,but too many games this season esp in January the team doesnt even do the simple things you need to do to defend.
I disagree with you bruh,when this team tries on the defensive end and is focused every possession they are capable of being a good 5 man unit....I have seen it,so when they allow open shots and layups,thats just matter of effort.
I can accept failure with effort,but when you dont try and you give up 120 pts is what the issue is....
Alot of the issues are just plain effort with this team...also this team is gonna win 50 games,dont tell me to not have expectations when a team wins 50 damn games.I expect you be competent most nights based off that....
