smh Lebron was getting dominated by KG whenever he would try to guard him in the ECF. Bron has all the power and strength, but all KG had to do was just post him up and turn and shoot over him cuhz he is tall as hell. Bron is probably the best wind defender in the game, but they need to stop with this he can guard 5 positions. the dude couldn't even keep up or guard David West during the Pacers series. YEa he guarded Pau great, but lets not pretend like he also doesn't get dominated by other Pf's like Pau Millsap who has dominated the Heat the past 2 years. Bron is a great defender, but imo its a bit of a stretch to say he can guard all 5 positions which he really can't imo

Or are you just skimming through my post? and yes pau is soft and is one of the main reason the lakers lost to okc this year. pau isn't aggressive at all and never takes advantage of his mismatches. once again where in the postseason has lebron guarded a dwight, you can keep referring to meaningless regular season games where dwight clearly didn't give a fukk but hey

Thing that kills me about last night game is that durants 4th foul is what lost us the game that and brooks coaching, we had the game plan guard wade shut down everyone else let lebron do him.

kd had 23 with 6 minutes left in the third. he was about to turn up something savage til he got that foul. if he stays out of foul trouble next game i see him and westbrook combining for about 80 points

The fact remains he has defended all 5 positions, period, you can try to diminish it all you want, but we're watching him defend a 5 in the finals, regardless of how bad Perkins offense is, nobody else put a wing player on him. It's dependent on the matchup, are you going to put him on Bynum? Hell no, but you could get away with putting him on other players. I'll ask one more time, show me just 1 other perimeter player doing the same thing.

Also, Paul Millsap had 8 pts on 3-7 shooting this year in the one game against the Heat.

That's the point...dude is a temporary band aid at different position defensively for his team. That's unique and cats are questioning the degrees of effectiveness when the point is, he can do it in spots.

yea there is, and Bron is capabale of doing that in spots, but besides guarding Pau effectively who is a PF and a C, who has he really been successful/dominating at guarding that are 4 and 5's. Its same as when in the early and mid 2000's when the league and announcers would be saying that Kobe can guard 4-5 positions had me like . Kobe was an elite defender, but guarding 4's is a stretch. Same thing imo with Bron, he can do it in stretches, but honestly Bron is not as strong to keep up with 4's or 5's. He is an animal and a beast, but the way the announcers and league be saying like man Bron can guard 4 or 5's he whole game and can lock em up had me like with that shyt. Bron is a great defender, but who has he guarded or can he guard that are really good or great PF's or C's?
