loose just give heat the credit breh

the series aint done..damn nikka
:heh: never said it wasn't fam
He actually guarded Dwight this year for a few minutes :yeshrug: Not on a switch or cross match, but actually on the floor to defend Dwight.

LeBron can guard 1-5, just depends on the matchup, if the guy is legit over 7 feet they try to keep him away unless it's a finesse big which is why he guarded Pau this year but not Bynum.

yea you right ....he fronted dwight in a meaningless regular season game, doesnt mean he can contain him in spurts. lebron would rack up fouls tryna guard that nikka

Thing that kills me about last night game is that durants 4th foul is what lost us the game that and brooks coaching, we had the game plan guard wade shut down everyone else let lebron do him.

Trying way too hard to diminish it, how many other Small forwards are guarding Dwight in the regular season for any stretch of time?

And why are you moving the goal posts, show me where I said "Contained" in my post? He guarded him, period, he's probably the only perimeter player that regularly guards 1-5 in the league.

Actually im not, the general media consensus is that lebron can guard 1-5 in spurts, fronting dwight for 2 possessions(with help) isn't guarding him and it wasn't in the postseason. give dwight the ball on the block and let's see lebron guard him.

lebron can guard 1-4 and that's mostly undersized 4s he is versatile.

See this shyt right here?

That shyt causes High Blood pressure.

It's called bar raising and goal post moving.

Bron guards players from from one to five IN SPOTS regardless of "who what, when, where and why" shyt you're adding to it.

Stop adding grey to black and white.

TO be fair, the best way to guard dwight is to let him get the ball. By fronting and denying the ball, Lebron was doing the Magic a favor.

The scary thing about L'broneous is that he plays strong, fundamentally sound defense on every possession, still puts up offensive numbers, and still has been racking up minutes.

:childplease: 2 possessions? He guarded him for a series, for several minutes. So, according to you fronting someone is in someway not defense as well, you're making some absolutely terrible arguments. Nobody is saying LeBron is Kurt Thomas and will stop people in their tracks in the post, but the fact remains that you can throw him at certain centers on defense. He has defended centers this season, and even the best one in the league.

Mostly undersized 4s, he guarded Pau who is one of the biggest PFs in the league.

:rudy: pau is one of the softest pfs in the league :scusthov: he dont deserve any credit for that. put it this way the biggest misconception about lebron guarding center is that he can guard centers for multiple possessions the way he is currently guarding perkins which he cant.

 @ all the excuses you keep coming up with, you said undersized PF which Pau clearly isn't, now it's "soft PFs". Keep moving the goal posts.

He's guarding centers, and he DID guard Dwight for multiple possessions, you trying to throw out some arbitrary number like "2 possessions" when it was a series of plays just kills your own argument.

Just show me one other 1-3 that is defending bigs as much as LeBron, just one other.

Rigged. I am sick to death of watching the Heat - it's like watching a professional wrestling match, the outcome has been pre-decided.

LeBron pushes off, travels, does whatever he wants on defense, and can jaw constantly at the officials. The NBA has turned into a joke. I have to stop tuning in to these games. It's obvious the league is rigging this for James. Why have all the advertisements with him hugging a trophy he hasn't won, or even deserves for that matter?

This is not sour grapes, the guy gets away with murder on the court. I have suffered a couple of gruesome injuries on the court, and I can say I have never wished harm upon anyone, but I hope for the sake of the league that LeBron becomes the next Penny Hardaway in game 4, let's see the trifecta, MCL, ACL, PCL all blown. The refs aren't going to call it fair, he needs to go.

And Battier.... since when has defense been about flopping on every call and sliding under players in mid-air? I now know how Memphis fans were feeling in round 1 against the LA Floppers

:laff: this nikka :sadcam:

smh Lebron was getting dominated by KG whenever he would try to guard him in the ECF. Bron has all the power and strength, but all KG had to do was just post him up and turn and shoot over him cuhz he is tall as hell. Bron is probably the best wind defender in the game, but they need to stop with this he can guard 5 positions. the dude couldn't even keep up or guard David West during the Pacers series. YEa he guarded Pau great, but lets not pretend like he also doesn't get dominated by other Pf's like Pau Millsap who has dominated the Heat the past 2 years. Bron is a great defender, but imo its a bit of a stretch to say he can guard all 5 positions which he really can't imo

Didn't we say "in spots' and isn't there a luxury in having a player that can do that?

Don't act like he's beasted to the point that he's a liability when playing spot duty.

That's the point...dude is a temporary band aid at different position defensively for his team. That's unique and cats are questioning the degrees of effectiveness when the point is, he can do it in spots.

Did i not say lebron was a versatile defender? Or are you just skimming through my post? and yes pau is soft and is one of the main reason the lakers lost to okc this year. pau isn't aggressive at all and never takes advantage of his mismatches. once again where in the postseason has lebron guarded dwight, you can keep referring to meaningless regular season games where dwight clearly didn't give a fukk but hey :manny:
