There's plenty of surveys you can look up where statistically black women have the highest percentage of wanting to date their own men over every single race, black men do, but the numbers arent as high as black women, white men and white women, we're just as likely as asian women, and they're the MOST likely to date outside their race.

Many of us sag our pants low, plaster our bodies with stupid tattoos (including face tattoos), many of us are impulsive and lack self-control, etc. Granted not all of us are like that (I'm certainly not like this) but the few good black men (rare breed) are often overlooked anyway and perceived as 'corny'. While the dimwitted thug is over-represented in the mainstream media (this is how the world sees us).
How can any women pursue a serious relationship with someone like that? Don't you think this is one of the many reasons why more and more black women are flocking to their white knights in shining armor? Personally I'm sick and tired of seeing black dime queens date goofy, dorky-looking white guys:

I would say its just people or trolls on the internet generalizing and being extremist but I've witnessed these black woman vs black males "debates" in person so many times I lost count. I only date black women and will continue to date them. Right now Im focused on helping build my community and empowering black men and women. That's bs, their are plenty of eligible black men WHEREVER they are at, but they are overlooked for THUGS and any wihteboy who give them the time of the day.

Be that as it may I believe it would be beneficial for the black community as a whole to forego hip hop's influence.
If you were to set a girl up for a blind date and say, "he's a black guy", what image will pop into her head? A tatted up, downlow, wannabe thug with an extensive criminal record. The image of the black man needs to be cleaned up. Our reputation and public image has undergone decades of abuse and tarnishment.
I've gone to school for many years to acquire an education and come from a hardworking family. It pisses me off when people group me with you wannabe thugs. I'm nothing like that. Normal black guys like me are either completely ignored or ostracized within the black community. Even on this very site people have called my ethnicity into question because of the way I type ('you're too smart to be black'). This is fukking disgusting (and they don't even realize they're insulting their own race with underhanded comments like that).
