If the 2nd quarter is lower than last year maybe but if anything they'll blame Lesnar's lack of appearances or maybe even Ronda.

They've had successful quarters even with his non-existent presence. The biggest problem has been WWE's open contempt for their fanbase and their employees. The treatment of Luke Harper and Sasha Banks will further amplify WWE's open hostility.

People are getting hip to the tricks they play to inflate the value of the stock. That shyt about having 2m subscribers is a lie, since many of those are actually people using free trials.

I just hope they don't blame this on Kofi and have him drop the belt.
These were first quarter numbers so really this is on Daniel Bryan...again

I said it in another thread, but I don't think people were with it. This shyt has "bubble" written all over it. No company can withstand an extended stretch of negative news and bad PR without eventually taking a hit.

The 30 for 30 that'll eventually be made about this period is gonna be crazy. :wow:

I haven't used the word "bubble," but I've been saying that they're going to have real problems 5-10 years down the line once the live sports rights fees bubble bursts for a very long time now. Idiot proofing the business side of the company is keeping them afloat, but that can only do so much when they care so little for being a wrestling company.

And if Fox sees the shyt they're pulling with SmackDown and cancels them (because Bonnie Hammer can't protect him there like she could with USA and NBCUniversal)? Then you're going to start to see some real fallout.

Ironically, the Fox deal might be what really fukks them.

It'll look like the corporate equivalent of clout chasing. :russ:

The McMahon`s, and HHH promised change late last year. Since then, It`s been the same boring ass show.

They`re bringing up NXT stars more frequently, like they said they would. The problem is they STILL cut them off at the feet, and don`t know how to use them. Viking Experience :heh:

They`re still over pushing Charlotte, other blondes, and Roman. We all know Charlotte, and Roman are getting them titles back much sooner, rather than later.

Baron Corbin Still getting too much camera time.

Most matches are pointless, has no meaning to them, and main events doesn`t even feel like main events anymore.

Writing is STILL HORRIBLE (they`re biggest problem imo). 30 WRITERS YA`LL:francis:

Having Kofi, and Becky as champs (Their days are numbered btw) is just throwing the fans a bone to shut fans up for the time being.

Smackdown is ok, but if it moves to 3 hours it will be just as bad as Raw.

First thoughts, I'm sure the 2nd quarter will look good base on those WrestleMania numbers but I am surprised about the drop after the reach 100 shares last week. They might have to increase their international shows over the next calendar year because these small town house shows don't seem to be profitable.

should have thrown those small town house shows in the trash years ago

Only thing I can think of as motivation behind having them is :

- small town family takes their kids
- those kids have a live experience that makes them fans
- new set of eyes watching their programming every week, and asking mommy/daddy to buy merch
