The race track scene was the highlight of this movie for me. It suffers from the same problems as the first one.....very dialogue heavy, with mediocre action. The first one had a more enjoyable story though.
Cap and Thor was dope in my opinion.

First Iron Man is great. In fact, i rank that movie above Batman Begins. With Iron Man 2, it seemed like they took the improve a lil too far, and it ended just like Iron Man 1 with a big droid battle.:what:

They dropped the ball, but Iron Man was the most swagged out character in avengers:smugdraper:

No, you clearly have no idea how they made the first two Iron Man films. By all accounts both films were made with a lot of the dialog being improvised. Mickie Rourke said in interviews that a lot of stuff about his character (speaking in Russian, the tattoos, the bird) were HIS ideas. Jeff Bridges said he had never worked on a film like that before because there really wasn't a script. In fact I vaguely remembered one of the actors saying the reason the second film didn't work was because they tried to film it just like the first film (with virtually no script).

So because the guy playing the main villian had a say in his character Sam Rockwell must have? C'mon
Sam Rockwell said in many interviews he took on the role without reading the script. Even if everything about Justin Hammer in the film was Sam Rockwell's idea Jon Favreau and/or Kevin Feige would've stopped Rockwell if they didn't agree with it.

Thread made me finally see it myself. Weak. The scene with Stark dancing around drunk was embarrassing. The villain was mediocre and the final fight was trash.

That shyt was horrid, then the music pumping during the in house fight. This is a forgettable movie

Did you even read what I typed? EVERYONE had a say in how they played their characters. Much of the dialog was improvised. He took the role without reading the script because there barely was one.

Since you so dead set on not believing me, I'll post quotes and links with the actors themselves saying they improvise much of the dialog and had a say in how they played their characters:

"I got some research—they sent me over some stuff," Rockwell told MTV News. "I looked it over and that was about it."

"I kind of took my own ideas from other things," he added. "A little bit of Lex Luthor stuff—[Kevin] Spacey and [Gene] Hackman."

Laughing, Rockwell said he found inspiration in a few other performances—and they'll probably surprise you.

"I think there's a little bit of Bill Murray in 'Kingpin' in it, and probably some Richard Gere 'American Gigolo,'" he smiled.

No, there wasn't [a locked-in script]," related Cheadle. "To be honest, We did improv a lot. We were very often sort of on a journey of discovery in the scenes, trying to find out where we were, who we were, what it was going to be.

Cheadle also spoke out about the rift that develops between Stark and Rhodes, which the actor admits he found difficult to handle onscreen.

"In particular, our story was kind of tricky to navigate," said Cheadle. "Between Robert's [character] and myself — between Tony Stark and James [Rhodes] — because they're friends, then James acquires the suit and they're not friends or they're enemies. How do we come back?"

"I think that was the real tricky thing," he added. "They knew where it needed to end up, but it was tricky figuring out how to get there."

"They had no script, man," Bridges revealed. "They had an outline. We would show up for big scenes every day and we wouldn't know what we were going to say. We would have to go into our trailer and work on this scene and call up writers on the phone, 'You got any ideas?' Meanwhile the crew is tapping their foot on the stage waiting for us to come on."

Jeff Bridges says Iron Man had no script

And just to be clear, it didn't matter how big a person's role was in the film EVERYBODY was improvising their dialog:

When asked about the amount of improv she needed to perform during the filiming of “Iron Man 2” set, Munn replied “Well, if you’ve got Robert Downey Jr. it’s going to be a lot. There’s a bunch of improv, over and over. It’s one of those things where you’re on set and you want other people to laugh and the crew to laugh. You get the extras and the contractors who’ve been there all day. If they’re laughing that’s a good feeling.”
Munn also shared an anecdote about shooting one of her scenes with Downey.

“One day I was doing a lot [of improvising] and [I kept] coming up with other stuff and at one point Robert just goes ‘Can we just stop for a second? Can we give Olivia a round of applause? Because she is rocking it right now.’ That’s beyond my dream ever and everyone just [clapped]. Afterwards, people were up coming up [and saying] ‘that was really great!’ I was so happy.”

As for Jon Favreau and Kevin Feige green lighting his performance, that doesn't change the fact the it was Rockwell's idea to the play the character that way, so as I said Rockwell is the one who fukked it up with his dumb ass interpretation of the character.
