End Game was just all fan service. Which is cool for the hard core nerd fans but it was a stinker quality wise. The time it got to the end battle I wasn't even interested in the movie anymore.

IW was coo because Thanos was the central figure and the movie ended like that was it. Which would've been fine with me.

Hulk reversed the death of a trillion people while also trying to undo the death of Black Widow, which the stones wouldn't let him do. Tony's snap was just wiping Thanos and his squad out

All that other stuff is just looking for reasons to hate, little nitpicking you can do with every movie ever created. Plenty of cases in Infinity War as well

Why did powered up Thor not attack Thanos in Wakanda until he washed everybody and got all the stones?

Why didn't they just take Thanos arm when he was under Mantis spell?

Why wouldn't Strange use Time stone to go BACK and change date of universe?

It's not nitpicking if it's major parts of the story. They messed up their main character's story. This is supposed to be the culmination of the series and they went contrary to past major events from the other movies... It's bad writing. They didn't stay faithful to Captain America's character or arc. He already learned that Peggy got happily married and had a family in, but he still went back to go hijack her life?

In reality this story was over because Steve had accepted that she moved on and had a happy life. To go even further, in Age of Ultron Wanda gives him the vision of what his life would be like if he stayed in the past and it even showed him having the dance with Peggy, but at the end he still says that he doesn't want that life anymore and that being in the future is his home

They couldn't even stay faithful to the ending of Infinity War where he sees his lifelong friend Bucky disintegrates in front of his eyes. You would think that would be his motivation in Endgame since they actually still have a relationship with eachother and Bucky was a major part of why Steve and Tony were even fighting in the first place... :mjlol:

In what world is this nitpicking. I haven't even gone into the awful plot of the movie. :mjlol:

I know I've said this on here numerous times but...The way they handled the Black Widow/Hawkeye sacrifice scene was asinine.

One of the biggest plot points in IW was that you have to sacrifice someone you love to obtain the Soul Stone. It made obtaining it one of the most crucial things in the story.

You jumping off a cliff is not sacrificing somebody you love...its just suicide :heh:.

Its so fukking stupid.

no one should cry when people rightfully say shyt is trash then :umad:

this movie is nothing more than a kid crashing action figures together. that's why they had the pointless tacked on fight against a fake Thanos at the end after they already snapped everyone back:mjlol:

THEY SHOULD HAVE ENDED IT WITH INFINITY WAR.

SAW END GAME ONCE AND NEVER
HAD THE URGE TO SEE IT AGAIN.

IT WASNT TERRIBLE
BUT NOT A TOP 5 MARVEL MOVIE EITHER.

THAT WIDOW/HAWKEYE SCENE
WAS SO BAD IT
FELT LIKE A PARODY

:ohhh:

I was so focused on BP's (lack of) screen time that I never paid attention to how badly they stumbled over Cap's character arc.

But now that you mention it, they did completely throw whatsherface from Civil War to the bushes just so they could retread Steve and her great-aunt again.

And yea, after all that shyt in TWS and CA:CW, Bucky did seem a bit of an afterthought.

movie was trash and made no sense. it's actually hilarious how bad it was when you hear all these people saying it was good :mjlol: the movie doesn't follow it's own logic, forget about the greater context of the older movies.

movie went batshyt illogical once the time travel heist caper started. I’m surprised they didn’t have Tony in a trench coat speaking with a dikk Tracy accent in the past.

end game is wack , Infinity war is top tier piff. And there is too much hate for Spider-Man far from home that slow lull till the turn was dope!!!!

The movies lowkey messed up Thor though.
If they had stayed closer to the Walt Simonson Thor era in the comics, all of those movies could have been Winter Soldier levels of good.

I'm still never gonna get people loving Infinity War when the entire damn movie beginning to end was telegraphed, there wasn't the slightest bit of suspense, there was practically no plot other than a series of fight scenes and every fight was goofy-illogical as fukk.

And there are some valid criticisms of Endgame but the ones some of y'all make. :mjlol:
Ending is trash too

How can Tony snap so easily when Hulk almost died doing it?
Cause it wasn't the same action at all. Hulk reversed the fate of the entire universe. Tony just wiped out a single minor army.

The way Tony got the gems was dumb too, but let's ignore that.
How is it dumb? How do you even have a critique? They're exploiting the classic sci-fi premise that those who design and manufacture the critical technology have a critical edge, and I know you didn't see it coming, so what was dumb about it?

The big one is why the fukk didn't they use the time stone to reverse Tony's death :russ: Either have Captain Marvel use the gauntlet to do it, or have Dr. Strange use the stone and necklace to do it. This was a major part of past movies.
When did we see anyone ever reverse a death without reversing the other consequences? Thanos couldn't bring the mindstone back without bringing Vision back, how would they bring Tony back without reversing the snap and bringing Thanos back too?

The moment was also telegraphed by Dr. Strange signalling it. I thought he wasn't supposed to tell Tony the scenario was going to play out. :duck:
He didn't tell Tony before because it might lead Tony to make decisions that would stop it from happening. At that moment, he could see Tony was willing and ready to go through and his nod strengthened his resolve.

I mean, this is BASIC obvious stuff, you're just hating to hate.

I said that to show what an actual nitpick is. That's why I said ignore it.

When did we see anyone ever reverse a death without reversing the other consequences? Thanos couldn't bring the mindstone back without bringing Vision back, how would they bring Tony back without reversing the snap and bringing Thanos back too?

They reversed time on specific objects multiple times. Strange did it on an apple, Thanos did it on Vision, which was also a major plot point. Neither of them had an effect on anything else. They didn't follow their own universe's logic. :manny:

He didn't tell Tony before because it might lead Tony to make decisions that would stop it from happening. At that moment, he could see Tony was willing and ready to go through and his nod strengthened his resolve.
