Great game. I haven't beat it yet, but I'm having a lot of fun so far. The battle system is great, the story is good so far, and the rpg elements ( loot, xp,etc) are amazing. I really have nothing bad to say about this game.

Yea that may be your best bet anyway cuz you get the Griffy familiar from Amazon which is a beast early in the game.
Lots of unrecorded dialog in this game but other than that so far no complaints.

This game is genius. The animation and look of the game is absolutely gorgeous. I'm playing it on my 83 inch TV and my jaw is dropped. the music is INCREDIBLE. the story/gameplay is like a mixture of pokemon, final fantasy and harry potter. Square should've been doing this with final fantasy all along..I feel like a kid again.
The last JRPG I gave a fu(k about was DQVIII.
Last RPG I gave a fukk about was final fantasy X. This game is AMAZING, there is no other way I can describe it, one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen, the music is incredible and is performed by the japanese phil harmonic orchestra, amazing animation by studio ghibl, great story...it has it all.

There's literally too many damn games out. I'm 36 hours in on Persona 4 and I dont' want to start another RPG. Sony needs to stop making all these damn games.
