Chicago Hold This Eternal L :dead:

Y'all said he wouldn't go to Chicago because their gangstas are too gangsta. Not only did he go to Chicago, he fed your homeless population and spread money to the community while you groupie nikkas took photos of him like thirsty ass paparazzi, then he went and posted up in one of your most supposedly live blocks. :laff: :laff: Please don't speak on his name again :mjlol:

It's always a different standard when it comes to New York. Any rapper from here makes drill style music they get called out for jacking Chicago...meanwhile Chicago literally took that Atlanta / Memphis sound (Trap), rewrapped it and gave it a new name. Drill sounds exactly like BSM (Brick Squad Mafia) music.

Listen to what Keef sounded like before late 2011, he was making pop rap. King Louie's music sounded like regular Atlanta shyt. The moment Whoo Da Kid's "Strap-A-Holics" dropped in February 2011, by the end of the year Keef and then Young Chop copied that exact sound on Bang 1 (Oct 2011) and BFTD (March 2012). They took the headbanging with dreads, and "Squad!" adlibs direct from Waka Flocka too. The "Aye" adlibs were started by OJ the Juiceman but with his softer voice. New York actually helped in creating that BSM sound. Frenchie (Waka and Wooh's cousin) was from New York, born and raised and still living here. And even Waka and Wooh grew up there and always claimed Queens, not just Atlanta.

So would NY nikkas be making "drill" music cuz they heard and saw the countless Chi shyt and Youtube vids... Or cause the little known fact that Waka and Wooh da kid from NY? C'mon dog... NY nikkas ain't even fukk with Waka, Wooh, none of that South shyt.

You described young nikkas organically creating a sub-genre and juelzed the rest of that shyt.

EVERYbody music damn near ATL/South influenced to a degree cuz they been hot/the sound of the culture since before the time you even mentioned.

So just a rundown of how yesterday went:

6ix9ne1ne1ne arrived in Chicago late/early as hell( the airport was empty and stores were closed)

drove to O'block during the twilight hours of 4am-5am and shot a quick insta story and skated out

only interacted with children, old ladies and homeless people, no real nikkas

rode around the magnificent mile(tourist area) with a cabal of security and Chicago police

made threats while being escorted by said police(cooperating in a gang sting)

cooperated with police by asking them to keep him safe in Chicago

I agree except nothing about 50 being tough was a gimmick

He was legit
nahh...I mean 50 is real...
...its just that he's more than being tough.

He knows when to turn it off (most of the time).
He's an actually smart guy.

These Chicago cats think being street is all there is to getting a name out there.
