yes he’s a big mascot but he’s the Xbox mascot and unlike Sega,
Xbox is still in the console market and does not make Halo games for Switch.

understandable but we really only strongly bring up MC due to the close relationship of MS and Nintendo. at one point we were comfortable talking about xcloud potentially being on switch, and Phil did give the word for Banjo to be in smash. It's a crazy one, but not too far out there.

Banjo has history with Nintendo I know MS gave them the green light, but that did make plausible sense.

That and Persona Strikers the point is Persona / Shin Megami Tensei has a presence on Nintendo and that Persona spinoff came out in 2018 in Japan before Joker became a character but apparently being released in Japan doesn’t count even with regards to a Japanese game developer.
So it is not an invalid argument. This is a straight up 1st party character from a rival console that still is in operation.
