Also, don’t forget that dodging while charging gigaflare speeds it up. Activating gigaflare, lightning rod, will o wisps, and then something like wicked wheel with all that activated is wild
Yeah but it's still a very passive playstyle. Would definitely be very hard for most people to adjust to that after spending the first half of the the game teleporting to enemies and lunging into them with sword strikes and close range offensive attacks like Garudas and ifrits

Yeah, but itts also a welcome change. Offers another play style along with the last two you get

The last one is my shyt :wow:
i couldn't get used to Shiva considering i had been conditioned to dodge using r1 the whole damn game. The long animation on odins dual wield is kinda annoying tho but it charges the zantetsuken gauge damn near full. shyt better than ignition at clearing out mobs

One thing they dropped the ball at with the eikon abilities is not being able to switch loadouts on the fly. They should at least let you create 3 loadout slots and could've easily just mapped it to left/right swipes on the trackpad and then the combat versatility could've REALLY shined in this game. Also, making the Ultimate ability of each Eikon take up a slot is a sin.

level 5 Zantetsuken is pretty much required for FF mode. Its the only thing that annihilates enemies in a timely manner.

And yeah, i slept on Shiva’s dodge because of the R1 conditioning but that shyt is OP as hell. You can freeze bosses and mini-bosses long enough to build up your Zantetsuken again

And yeah, i slept on Shiva’s dodge because of the R1 conditioning but that shyt is OP as hell. You can freeze bosses and mini-bosses long enough to build up your Zantetsuken again

i kinda dislike that they gate keep final fantasy mode behind a full playthrough of the game. Honestly the base game itself has low replayability because of how they did not go deep on the rpg and character customization mechanics. They went all in on the story which was amazing but having an actually challenging game hidden in new game+ sucks. We live in a world where elden ring was the most popular game in the world and was hard as shyt. They could let players choose difficulty. Even the so callee S rank hunts were too easy

i agree it doesn’t make sense when they put so much emphasis on the combat for this game. They should have known drawing inspiration from DMC and character action games would attract more hardcore audience to the series. FF mode should have been standard hard difficulty and another extremely difficult mode after that

Nah it is still the best place to get music, particularly stuff you can't find elsewhere. Has all the FF OSTs on it.

This is more egregious when you get to higher levels too. They be having you fight random ass bandits but the bandits are damage sponges even though you're basically a demigod
Smh. I feel like, don't insult my intelligence. Don't kill the immersion. Japanese are good story tellers but they stick to the formula too much when it comes to their jrpg tropes. fukknpallette swaps and reused assets. At least have a story reason why these new soldiers are OP.

Give them a new helmet to symbolize elite guard. Something
